Executive Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative needs of the Executive Team
- Arrange conference calls and meetings
- Assist members in taking full advantage of their membership
- Encourage member participation, retention
- Work to upgrade current and new members to higher levels of membership
- Actively seek new business and follow up appropriately
- Remain informed of member benefits and company events, etc.
- Support editorial team with data entry and analysis
- Perform various administrative/clerical tasks
Qualifications:
- Exceptional people skills with an outgoing personality
- Previous experience as an executive secretary, administrative assistant, or in other related fields
- The ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong and accurate data-entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Copy Editor/Writer
Responsibilities:
- Work under tight deadlines to report on trending topics within the food industry.
- Copyedit newsletters, articles, and other written materials.
- Develop industry contacts.
- Mentor young professionals and new hires.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree; journalism or related field of study preferred.
- 3+ years of copyediting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, WordPress, Constant Contact, Adobe InDesign, Hootsuite, etc.
- Take initiative. Extremely detail-orientated. Fast learner who can multitask.

Market Research Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, interpret food industry trends and information for monthly 1,800-word, 5-page whitepapers that note what’s happening in the food industry and why, adding relevant stats and data points
- Work with senior management to envision ideal layout and presentation of industry whitepapers
- Support senior management with other content creation periodically
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree; research or quantitative related field of study preferred
- Strong data software applications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel

Video Producer
Responsibilities:
- Produce multiple short (1-5-minute) videos per week, on part-time or freelance basis.
- Appear on-camera to deliver newscasts for online and social media.
- Assist with company’s social media and multimedia efforts as needed.
- Building FI’s brand via social media encouraged.
- On rare occasions, attend industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree; journalism, broadcast or related field of study preferred.
- Proficient in video editing, various social media platforms, and Hootsuite.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- On-camera experience a plus.
- Podcast production a plus.

Database Management Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Build new email distribution lists targeting Food & Beverage verticals.
- Help organize FI’s existing database management system.
- Maintain FI’s database by entering new and updated account information.
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete data.
- Generate reports and store completed work in designated locations.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
- Address data inconsistencies by working with management to locate missing data.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
- Data entry experience or related office experience.
- Knowledge of social media platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Responsibilities:
