    Copy Editor

    Responsibilities:

    • Copyedit newsletters, articles, and other written materials, often on tight deadlines.
    • Write articles on trending topics related to the food and beverage industry.
    • Work cohesively with coworkers.
    • Occasionally appear in brief on-camera videos or at industry events.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree; journalism or related field of study required.
    • 3+ years of copyediting experience.
    • Proficient in Constant Contact, WordPress, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Self-starter who is detail-oriented and able to multitask.
    • Legal authorization to work full-time in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

    Writer/Reporter

    Responsibilities:

    • Work under tight deadlines to report on trending topics within the food industry.
    • Work closely with editorial staff to write and produce daily and weekly newsletters.
    • Assist with company’s social media and multimedia efforts as needed.
    • Develop industry contacts.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree; journalism or related field of study preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, WordPress, Constant Contact, Adobe Indesign, Hootsuite, etc.
    • Experience pertaining to video, radio or podcasts a plus.
    • Taking initiatives. Extremely detail-orientated. Fast learner who can multitask.

    Market Research Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Gather, analyze, interpret food industry trends and information for monthly 1,800-word, 5-page whitepapers that note what’s happening in the food industry and why, adding relevant stats and data points
    • Work with senior management to envision ideal layout and presentation of industry whitepapers
    • Support senior management with other content creation periodically

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree; research or quantitative related field of study preferred
    • Strong data software applications skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel
    • Taking initiative. Detail-orientated. Fast learner who can multitask

    Video Producer

    Responsibilities:

    • Produce multiple short (1-5-minute) videos per week, on part-time or freelance basis.
    • Appear on-camera to deliver newscasts for online and social media.
    • Assist with company’s social media and multimedia efforts as needed.
    • Building FI’s brand via social media encouraged.
    • On rare occasions, attend industry events.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree; journalism, broadcast or related field of study preferred.
    • Proficient in video editing, various social media platforms, and Hootsuite.
    • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • On-camera experience a plus.
    • Podcast production a plus.
    • Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

    Data Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Gather, analyze, interpret food industry trends and information.
    • Compile and distribute such research in the form of graphics, data summaries, narratives, etc.
    • Research government, academic, and industry database to produce market reports.
    • Work closely with senior management to support content distribution, analytics, and content creation

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree; research or quantitative related field of study preferred.
    • 2+ years of direct research or data analysis experience.
    • Strong data software applications skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.
    • Taking initiatives. Extremely detail-orientated. Fast learner who can multitask.
