December, 13 2024 – The Well professional network, a membership-based organization committed to empowering the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and wellness community, recently co-hosted a multifaceted event supported and sponsored by Withum, a top-25 national accounting and advisory firm, and Corporate Member of The Well.
The event took place at the beautiful D’Angelico Guitar Showroom in Manhattan and featured a timely and informative panel moderated by Lonnie Bloom, a Withum Partner in their Technology & Emerging Growth Services practice.
“We thoroughly enjoyed co-hosting the event with The Well and were thrilled to connect with some outstanding e-commerce and CPG brands,” Bloom said.
Panelists included…
- Brian Roddy, VP of Finance and Operations of Little Words Project, a jewelry company that creates inspirational beaded bracelets with meaningful words.
- Robert Miranne, President and COO of CleanBoss, a cleaning product line renowned for its commitment to creating effective, non-toxic cleaners.
- Warren Brown, VP of Product at Settle, a unified platform designed for CPG brands to proactively plan, purchase, and pay for inventory.
“The panel on inventory management best practices and experiences was both thought-provoking and timely, especially with the holiday season approaching, and I was honored to be amongst such a robust group of panelists,” Bloom noted. “The Well has introduced us to a vast network of e-commerce companies, creating opportunities that we otherwise wouldn’t have had.”
Additional partners that helped support the event included: Bank of America, Oishii, Shire’s, Talkhouse Encore, Saint James Tea, CleanBoss, Weleda, Neir’s Tavern along with D’Angelico Guitars.
“The event co-hosted with our corporate member Withum and partners was our sixteenth in-person event organized by The Well since we incorporated in New York City and launched at the ExpoWest show this past March! These programs held in New York City, Los Angeles, Denver and Washington, D.C. accelerated collaboration and intentional networking among founders, investors and advisors in the consumer and wellness space,” said Mark Nguyen, Managing Partner of The Well.
Nguyen added, “We have both in-person and online programs planned in the coming months, including our Webinar Wednesday series, with the next webinar on December 18, featuring The Well founding member Max Prilutsky speaking on preparations for mergers and acquisitions, and on January 15, 2025, featuring The Well member Robyn Young speaking on The Brand Curve and how brands can draw in superfans. We are also excited to return to ExpoWest with a special reception on March 4, 2025, spotlighting women in CPG, and invite like-minded professionals to join The Well community.”
