Meanwhile, Ahold Delhaize said it will transition to Product Carbon Footprinting (PCF) to get a better idea of its greenhouse gas emissions. PCF looks at product-level impacts based on ingredients, production methods, and supply chains. Full Story

And lastly, China’s hogs may have a new diet as rising soy costs push producers to other feeds. In March, the Chinese government ramped up efforts to expand protein sources for livestock and is moving faster than expected to deploy and promote fermented feed, reported ReutersFull Story (Sub. Req.)
