Data Analyst (Part-Time, 10-20 hours)

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, interpret food industry trends and information.
  • Compile and distribute such research in the form of graphics, data summaries, narratives, etc.
  • Research government, academic, and industry database to produce market reports.
  • Work closely with senior management to support content distribution, analytics, and content creation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; research or quantitative related field of study preferred.
  • 2+ years of direct research or data analysis experience.
  • Strong data software applications skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Taking initiatives. Extremely detail-orientated. Fast learner who can multitask.
  • Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Writer/Reporter (Part-Time, 10-20 hours)

Responsibilities:

  • Work under tight deadlines to report on trending topics within the food industry.
  • Work closely with editorial staff to write and produce daily and weekly newsletters.
  • Assist with company’s social media and multimedia efforts as needed.
  • Develop industry contacts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; journalism or related field of study preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, WordPress, Constant Contact, Adobe Indesign, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Experience pertaining to video, radio or podcasts a plus.
  • Taking initiatives. Extremely detail-orientated. Fast learner who can multitask.
  • Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
