Food Institute board member, C. Winston (Win) Taylor, will be feted at Saint Joseph’s University’s second annual Food Marketing Hall of Honor Day on April 21, for his achievements and contributions to the food industry. “This is a well deserved honor for Win, whose career in the food industry speaks for itself and whose passion to share what he has learned with others has made him a valuable asset for the entire industry,” commented Brian Todd, President and CEO of The Food Institute.
Taylor has been a leader in the food industry for over 45 years. Former vice president, sales and marketing for Venice Maid Foods, executive VP for Home Shopping Showcase, and president of sales for Campbell Soup Company, Taylor most recently held the position of C.J. McNutt Chair of Food Marketing (2002-2009) at Saint Joseph’s University. Taylor taught courses in both the executive MBA and undergraduate food marking programs.
Honored in 1995 as the Food People Magazine Manufacturer of the Year, Taylor is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society, and has presented on a wide array of food industry topics as a featured conference speaker and as a guest lecturer at universities.
